How do you decide if my dog is a good fit?

Every new Pup Scout begins with a behavior assessment and a trial walk. This lets us understand their personality, energy level, and comfort zone so we can recommend the right path, whether that’s private walks or structured pack adventures.

What if my dog isn’t social yet?

That’s exactly why families choose us. Many pups start with solo walks in your area to build trust and confidence. Over time, we gently introduce them to a well-matched pack, helping them grow at their own pace.

Can my dog walk solo instead of with a pack?

Absolutely. We offer private walks in your area for dogs who are recovering, reactive, or just need a bit more one-on-one care before joining a group. We’ll meet them exactly where they are, and progress only when they’re ready.

Can you still walk my dog if I’m not home?

Definitely. Most Pup Scouts families in your area provide a secure way for us to access their home, like a lockbox or garage code, so your pup never misses a walk. We make it effortless to keep their routine consistent, even on your busiest days.

How do I know my dog is safe?

You'll receive a detailed report with photos after each walk, and you can always check in with our staff through the app while your pup is out adventuring. Our pack leaders are certified in pet first aid and fully insured for your peace of mind.

Are you walkers trained?

Yes! Every Pack Leader is professionally trained in behavior management, emergency handling, and positive reinforcement. We also conduct background checks and provide ongoing education to ensure your dog is always in capable hands.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We adapt to keep your dog safe and happy. If weather conditions in your area aren’t ideal, we may shorten the walk or opt for a shorter private visit, with plenty of indoor stimulation and play. You’ll always be notified of any changes.

Will I get updates after the walk?

Always. After each Pack Walk, you’ll receive photos and a quick report so you know how your dog did, whether they made a new friend, conquered a new trail, or had a confidence-building moment.

How much does a pack walk cost in your area?

Pack Walking Adventures are priced per walk, with frequency-based packages. Most your area families book 2 to 3 pack walks per week. We share exact per-walk pricing once you submit a service intake, since pricing reflects route, group size, and your dog's assessment.

Is a pack walk safe for a reactive dog?

Reactive dogs typically start with private walks first. We assess temperament, leash skills, and trigger thresholds before introducing them to the pack. When they're ready, we match them into a small, low-stimulation group at their pace. Reactivity is something we work with, not around.

From the first day, he's been so much better walking right next to me on the leash, not pulling. We even walked right next to a squirrel, and he didn't flinch.
